Return Method
We operate a 30 day return policy, meaning you have 30 days from the date you receive your item to request a return.
To be eligible, your item must be in the same condition you received it: unworn, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You will also need proof of purchase.
To start a return, please contact us at contact@backgammonhouse.co.uk explaining the reason for your return before sending anything back. Once your return is accepted, we will provide the appropriate instructions, which may include a prepaid return label or a carrier-specific procedure. Items returned without prior approval, or sent to an address not provided by us, will not be accepted.
We cover return shipping costs for 30 days from the date of order receipt, and there are no restocking fees.
Specific Return and Refund Situations
Change of mind: you may return a product within 30 days, provided it is unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging.
Defective items: please contact us as soon as possible, ideally within 48 hours of receipt. We will cover the return shipping and offer a replacement or refund.
Damaged items: please send us photos of the damage within 48 hours of receipt. We will assess the situation and cover return shipping where applicable.
Wrong item received: please contact us within 48 hours; we will cover return shipping and ensure you receive the correct product.
Item not received: please contact us within 48 hours so we can open an investigation with the carrier. If the item cannot be located, we will offer a full refund or a replacement.
Cancellation after ordering: you may cancel your order before it ships. If it has already shipped, please follow the standard return process once received.
This policy does not apply to personalised items.
Exchanges
Exchanges are accepted. To get the item you want quickly, return the item you have and, once the return is accepted, place a new order for the item you want.
Timeframes
Return window: notify us of your return within 30 days of receiving your product.
Refund processing: refunds are processed within 7 business days of receiving and inspecting the returned item, followed by a confirmation email.
Refund eligibility: refunds are granted if the product is intact, unused, and in its original packaging; refunds for defective or incorrectly shipped products are granted following inspection.
Refund method: refunds are issued to the original payment method used at purchase.
